Privacy Policy
This extension does not collect, transmit, sell or share any data. It contains no network requests, no analytics, no tracking and no remote code.
What is stored
Only your own settings, saved with the browser's chrome.storage.sync API:
- your preferred audio language,
- the behaviour options you choose on the settings page (auto-apply, fallback, on-screen feedback, Shorts),
- which of the two modes — preferred language or original audio — you last selected.
This data stays in your browser profile. If you have browser profile sync enabled, the browser syncs it between your own devices under your own account. The extension author never receives it and has no way to access it.
Nothing else is recorded: no browsing history, no video ids, no watch activity, no personal identifiers.
What is accessed
The extension runs only on youtube.com. On a YouTube page it reads the list of audio tracks the player offers for the video you are watching, and asks the player to select one. That information is used in the moment and never stored or sent anywhere.

Remote code
None. All code is contained in the extension package.
Third parties
None. No data is shared with anyone, and nothing is used for advertising, credit assessment, or any purpose unrelated to the extension's single feature.
Changes
Any change to this policy will ship with a new version of the extension and be updated on this page.
